Brekkie Smoothie!

It’s smoothie season!!! Love smoothies, yet they often leave you still feeling hungry? Oftenly with smoothies is they are:

  1. Not balanced in macro nutrients. Often, lacking in fats and protein. Ekkk. Causing bloodsugar woes.

  2. Digestion is a north to south process, starting in your brain, then you mouth. Smoothies, are smooth. So you’re not always chewing anything. So your brain isn’t able to partake in the party.

So, now what?

Add fats & protein. This specific recipe does not have a ton of protein, however you could add protein powder if that iyour jam. I will link the current one I use.

Adding chia pudding at the bottom will encourage you to chew! Helping your brain partake in the eating of said smoothie!
